  1. I only noticed it when I got home and checked to see if there were any matches here like when the NFL comes over. Couldn't make it at such short notice but it would have been cool. Naturally the baseball scene here is quite small but I hope to go and see my local team who play in the 'top' league here in the coming weeks. Also have a few MLB matches a week included in our BT Sport tv package too!
  2. Just as a follow-up, I had an awesome time! The view from behind the plate was fantastic for a first timer and I really love how easy it is to follow what's happening courtesy of the screens and info boards. It's a shame the Jays lost but I'm a total convert now and I returned to the UK with some merch, the MLB app seeing daily use and anticipation for the 2023 game in London. Thanks again for all of your input. Go Jays!
  3. Thanks again for all the help everyone! In the end I went for directly behind the plate for the game on the 3rd. In terms of price and match day experience it seemed like the best option. Maybe the seats aren't the best but for the budget I had they seemed good enough hopefully I'll enjoy my first baseball experience and that it won't be the last!
  4. Having decided to avoid July 1st and the crowds it'll bring, does anyone have thoughts about which other day would be better (July 2nd day/evening or July 3rd)? Would there be any real difference between them in terms of the experience? Thanks again in advance for your ongoing comments
  5. Thanks for the heads up! I'll get in touch with the poster above
  6. Thanks for your reply! Most of the seats remaining are in the back few rows, so maybe it wouldn't be that great :/ I like the idea of going on Canada Day but would have to sacrifice the location. I guess that's my quandry to work out
  7. Hello all, first time poster and total baseball rookie here I'm coming to Toronto at the end of June and want to take in my first baseball game but can't decide which tickets to get. My choices are either July 1st or July 3rd. The latter has more tickets available, particularly high up directly behind the plate, but I wonder whether the atmosphere/festivities would be more enjoyable on the 1st, for which the closest seats to the centre are in 532/533 off to the left facing 3rd base. I'm quite happy to go for the $30 and below tickets, but does anyone have any thoughts on my above point? Thanks in advance for your comments
