    It definitely put them on the map at a time Canada was seen negatively around the league. Toronto has issues keeping guys till this day so imagine how was it back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Even if Vince left like a bitch, he put in the time to help the city become relevant.

    I can see his point when it comes to the high end players. But Tampa already knows how it needs to operate in order to succeed so they don't care to cater to any high end/egotsitical players. They're never in the market for one anyways. If you're an average/fringe player then Tampa is the team for you. They make everyone look ike friggin Allstars.

    I was in and out and had no clue why they took Garcia out. If that's true, that is showing 0 confidence in Happ and he sure backed that up lol

    These are good goals for Vlad. He will have lot of downtime to work on his defense so might as well make him aim high. It should help with the weight loss because he must have saw he is a below average player in he's fat. Worst case, he goes back to 1B. But from what we saw, doubt he can stay at 3B. 1B will be his position.

    Agreed, I'm not even a Grichuk fan but hes an average corner OFer at worst. We might just have better options for those positions for the future but that doesn't mean Grichuk won't have value to another team.

    If we can't trust Vlad to be a first baseman at age 21/22 then his overall value to any team goes to s***. We have to trust he will improve at his trait like most young players. Although ill agree, I've never seen a first baseman struggle at that position the way he did.

    Ya he will take a long deal with opt outs. Would be dumb for him to do otherwise. All it takes is one injury and you've lost out on hundreds of millions...

    Jays are in a great position to be world series contenders by 2022. Just hope we take a big step next year and this offseason will go a long ways in determining that.
