    Of course, I'm not going to stay rigid if im given new information like this season. Just enjoying the ride right now, im sure most will judge this team based on how we perform in the playoffs.

    I bet 25 bucks on the Jays winning the AL and another 25 on them winning the World Series right after the season ended. I was convinced Shatkins were going to have an epic offseason to bounce back. Never would I have thought we'd be winning for the reasons we are lol.

    The thing is rosters expand in september so you'll be asking Schneider/Loperfido only to go down for 2 weeks before theyre back up. If Santander ever gets ready by mid September then we can revisit whether to DFA France.

    Ya I totally get what youre saying and agree your points have more validity behind it as its gotten us this far. In the end, im just relying on what I always see in every sport and its when the chips are down, you want your best out there. There's still a lot of baseball left to help determine who our real best players will be by the end. I was just forecasting who I believe will be those players at this point in time down the stretch.

    Just more who I trust in the lineup when things get tougher. I want my best players to get the most at bats if its possible.

    I think the time is right to put Springer back in the leadoff spot. He's gone from 5th to 4th to 2nd this year so I doubt he'll have an issue batting leadoff when he's done it his whole career. Our supporting cast has done a great job of getting this team in its current spot but its time for our best players to carry the team down the stretch. Vs Righties: Springer - Barger - Vlad - Bo - Varsho - Kirk - Lukes - Clement - Gimenez Vs Lefties: Springer - Bo - Vlad - Kirk - Barger - Clement - France - Varsho - Schneider

    They're getting Yesavage ready for the potential role he'd fill for fhe Jays if he were needed. It doesnt mean he'll be called up but just gives the Jays options in September. Its probably what some of us hoped Manoah could be this season.

    All the issues talking about the Mariners depth is relevant during the Regular Season. Come playoff time, it's all about your top 3/4 starters, your top 3/4 relievers, batting lineup and defense. Mariners outclass practically every AL team in those areas except defense. This is where the 2015 Royals, I mean 2025 Blue Jays, come in to ruin their fun :)

    Is it too early to say that the Mariners remind me of the 2015 Jays in terms of making the perfect moves at the deadline to go on a massive run? Hopefully it'll end by our hands when we small ball them to death in the playoffs like the 2015 Royals lol.

The angle doesnt even do the play justice considering how hard Ohtani turned his body to commit to the swing. The fact he was able to pull it back as much as he did shows how strong he is but also how stupid the ump was.

    What a win man. Seeing Vladdy come up with a clutch HR was amazing. I've been harping on him not having enough career moments for a guy at his skill/salary level. Let's get Springer/Gimenez into the lineup Tuesday hopefully and then wait for our secret weapon in Santandar to come sometime in September to put us over the top!.

    Not complaining about anything but thr continual thinking that Hoffman is our best reliever. He hasn't been that guy this year for us

    He brought him in too early and let him in too long. Hoffman hasn't been THAT guy this year so stop treating him as a complete "shut down" reliever. Let his actions and not his contract determine his worth.
