    We would just punish our bullpen by having 1 less arm in there. Not sure if thats ideal with the way Schneider likes to use his bullpen.

    They listened to me and put Springer in the leadoff spot. Take that all the peeps telling me it didnt make sense :)

    Fluharty makes sense if they move Lauer to the pen to have a 2nd lefty. That way you dont lose anyone off the roster.

    Sucks because Nance has shown enough to keep around. Cant even imagine the decisions if Garcia/Sandlin are healthy enough soon.

    Technically it would be one of Clement/Lukes going to the bench in this scenario so you just gotta take your pick.

    There is no problem having the DH spot jammed up as long as that hitter is worthy of it like we've seen this year. Springer/Santandar split RF/DH, Tucker plays LF with Varsho at CF would actually be an upgrade.

    Wonder who goes down or DFA'd for Springer/Bieber. My guess is Loperfido gets sent down and Nance gets DFA'd? Loperfido gets called up in september and then France gets DFA'd for Santandar (hopefully)

    We could lose Bo and easily upgrade him defensively with Barger at 3B, Gimenez at SS and Ernie at 2B. Problem is we desperately that his bat in the middle of the order, I dont see that being replace unless we somehow land Tucker.

    It was our bullpen that killed our season. I will overlook the crappy defense because we mashed our problems away lol.

    Agreed... loved that team so much, probably recency bias speaking. Just crazy what we're doing with Springer/Bieber to join tomorrow and im not counting out Santandar.

    This is agree with but I still think he deserved a longer rope before being removed from all high leverage situations. It's like hes become our Chad Green now lol.

    Degrom had a chance to be one of the best pitchers of all time but poor guy just couldnt stay healthy enough. Still one of the best of his generation.

    Every hitter/pitcher has their ups and down so if you cut bait on everyone when they had a slip then you wouldn't have a roster. To think YRod was incapable of turning it around when you paid to lock him up longterm is a confusing decision. Look at our closer if you need an example, YRod should continue getting the reps even if its not all 100% leverage situations. MLB seasons are a marathon, the best always rise to the top by the end.

    Schneider got new bullpen toys and literally forgot about YRod who was our best bullpen arm all season imo. Now when he does pitch, its between long breaks for some reason.

    I've seen enough, bring back Springer to DH tonight. We need his bat in the lineup.

    Bad decision from Varsho man. Your arm isnt gunning anyone out at home, hold the runner to 1B at least

    A SS with decent speed makes that play. Hope his lack of speed/range/arm doesnt kill the Jays in the playoffs.

    Imagine being Clement/Gimenez and seeing his slow ass play SS in between them lol.

    He would have been out by a mile. The Jays need to get him on a running plan. Its pathetic how slow hes become as our SS.
