So this management saw Varland perform well as an opener one time and thought it was a good idea to trust him in that role for Game 4 of the ALDS. How did we go from a 6 man rotation with too many good starters to this cluster f***. Maybe we try batting IKF cleanup because he does well on wednesday night games at Yankee stadium when the temperature is above 10 degrees. God forbid we use common sense on some decisions. *im still bitter about yesterday

I have been mentioning this from when the rosters were announced. Not having Bassitt/Scherzer over Bruhil/Nance is very idiotic. Bassitt/Scherzer give you legit long man options in the worst case but also help save your bullpen too. Maybe if we go to Bassitt yesterday, he has his A stuff. Worst case, he looks exactly like how 75% of the bullpen has.

Im so f***ing down. This hurt so much knowing how this could have been known as the Vladdy game/series. He came out like a f***ing boss tonight man.

And hopefully our management/coaching staff dont decide to bat IKF leadoff tomorrow because of something he did in 2021 in yankee stadium at 7 pm on a random wednesday.

Yup... management/coaching staff get blame for starting IKF but its ultimately the players who choked. You have a 6-1 lead against a completely demoralized team and we gave them extra life in multiple innings. The players literally brought the Yankees back to life.

To the point even Buck Martinez went to Straw in person today and said to him "are you surprised youre not starting today because I am" All this so we could start the worst player on our roster.

At least Santandar is understandable because you made a big investment and he has a great track record. IKF was waived by the damn pirates because no one wanted him at the deadline. He has 0 reason to be touching the field

Ya its funny how we got a bunch of unknowns in the bullpen that people expect to be shut down? Relievers are in the bullpen mostly because theyre failed starters who are volatile.

They need to send Bruhil's scrubby ass to the IL and activate Bassitt for tomorrow. There was 0 reason to make that move in the first place aside from nerds in the front office saying so.
