  1. Merryweather projects as a mid-rotation starter. That's a good return for JD considering the circumstances.
  2. We all assume JD is a jerk. It's just THAT story is clearly made up or a massive exaggeration. Go read it again! lol
  3. I do thanks. Got any more made up stories? You ever run into Jose Bautista?
  4. My bet is at most, 10% of this post is true. Guy probably saw JD walking on the street with a hottie. And the rest is made up.
  5. Cleveland fans don't like the idea of giving up Merryweather so looks like a good trade for the Jays.
  6. Might not be Merryweather then...
  7. Can injured players not be traded during the season? Does Cleveland maybe plan to use him in the post-season?
  8. #BlueJays GM Ross Atkins says PTBNL in Josh Donaldson deal is set, not contingent at all on JD's health. Described him as "a near-term prospect that will impact our major-league team in a significant way."
  9. Ahhh...thanks. So why can't he be traded now?
  10. Why does he have no pitching stats for 2018?
  11. He had a 6.58 ERA in AAA in 2017 over 10 starts.
  12. Julian Merryweather. What are the scouting reports on him?
  13. Not a bad idea.
  14. It'll be one of the more interesting offseason stories to watch, that's for sure.
  15. We need details here.
  16. True but at this point in his career he may not have that option, if he wants to keep playing.
  17. Wow! You figure he gets that much AAV and term, considering his injuries?I was thinking he'd be lucky to get a one year prove it deal for around $15 million.
  18. Any predictions on what kind of contract he might get this offseason? Probably depends how he performs in the next couple months.
  19. Super classy guy and a great teammate. Jays should consider bringing him back next year as a mentor to the young guys.
  20. What was his injury in April? Was it a leg issue?
  21. It's what Josh is suggesting.
  22. Really unfortunate how this ended, but I doubt there is a conspiracy with Cleveland. Based on JD's health, the PTBNL was really the only option at this point.
