    I know ive said it before, but. Look at what the mariners have done. You need to actually play baseball in order to win. Even if you are not built on speed. You need to attempt enough stolen bases to invoke fear in the opponent. I said this in March. Playing against the blue jays has been a literal walk in the park for the last few years. Even if Vlad Jr and Bichette both pan out to be superstars and have no setbacks. Sadly it wont be enough.

    Who ever could have predicted this exactly. Who could have predicted Stroman and his giant ego would blow up ? Who could have predicted, even when people were saying that it was Pillars breakout year, that hes in a downward trend in AVG, SB's and everything else, and has no idea what the strikezone is nor will he ever. ? Who could have predicted the team leader in stolen bases would have 15 ? Who could have predicted that the Blue Jays would have a bad year, just like last year. ? Who could have predicted the last World series winner before the season even started ? Who could have predicted the Stanley cup winner before the season even started ? Who could have predicted all of this happening to the Blue Jays and put it in writing and said he would be back to say I told you so ?

    His managing style is very basic, a no brained redneck. He will never put a man on when 1st base is open, doesn't like to steal, doesn't like to bunt. Umpires are not going to pat him on the back for arguing or give him the benefit of the doubt. Would rate him as one of the poorer managers to ever manage in baseball, not just that are currently managing, but I'm talking about, in the history of the game. Not intelligent at all and his only answer for everything is "well y y y ya know"

    Pearce reminds me of a Jim Leyritz who cant catch and does nothing in the post season. In other words he is useless. And Yes, the Blue Jays organization , Atkins, Shapiro, Gibbons have driven the team into the ground, they saw an opportunity and knew people would have got seasons tickets after the good years and capitalized, they are good businessmen though. They are destroying careers, forget about what Hernandez did in Spring, look what he did when he played with the Jays last year. You might not see that anymore now that he has been hurt by the organization. They also have rookies like Alford etc whos careers are stunted because they are past the appropriate age and or experience when they should make their debuts. Ruining the organization and ruining careers, it doesn't get any darker than this my friends.

    Lol "yeeea yeeea I'm Marcus Stroman I'm the greatest". This guy has never done anything, he needs to take a look at people like David Wells, actual pitchers, has Stroman won 20 games, 19 , 18, 17, 16 ?.... who the hell does he think he is some sort of a baseball God. I guess when you are that pathetic and you think just because you've made it to the majors as a short loser you've reached the pinnacle and "proved da haters wrong" because hes done absolutely nothing.

    There is something that the entire organization is completely unaware of. So, the blue Jays are not built on speed, cant argue that. Are they built on the starting 4 in the rotation that people keep talking about? Are they build on the offense which was one of the worst in the League last year ? Nope, so they are not built on speed but you need to be able to steal enough, a certain % to make the other pitcher uncomfortable up there because its tough enough to pitch as it is. This organization is awful, they don't even realize this, what are we going to have Pillar leading the team with 10SB and nothing after that ? This team might also set a major league record for strikeouts. If the offense is brutal and the pitching is extremely overrated we better damn well be stealing bases, and playing actual baseball, but it will never happen. If you don't believe me I don't care, I will be back here when the blue Jays finish the terrible season to say I told you so.

    The timeline is also very interesting, like he turns into a brutal baseball player and then all of a sudden (after the fact) starts getting hurt all the time. With this injury too, all off-season all spring to see this "specialist" and nothing and then on opening day its announced, 60 day DL. Personally, and IDGAF what others think, I think he just wants to eliminate the number of craptacular years on the back of his bubble gum card or has lost interest. There is more going on than we see for sure anyways.

    Career is done, he will never contribute anything useful to baseball ever again (on the field). Would be easy to shrug it off but his salary is big and Diaz/Ngope for 162 is just.. cringeworthy.
