  1. As we are finding out from Tulo Once you go bone spur you dont go back. Wouldn't surprise me to see Yanks add a 1B So many athletes have them but for some of them, they never cause issues. Once they star causing issues though, its a different story. You may heal one and another becomes a nightmare
  2. I hope people understand that it's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows for Vlad and Bo in the minors. One of them or both of them may struggle and take a step back. It's all part of the development. Of the two Bo is the one more likely to struggle with AA pitching but you never know. I would hate to see this fanbade when in June Bo has a .700 ops in New Hampshire.
  3. Bichette has some serious power in his swing.
  4. Insead of Cobb and Cashner they could have had Darvish.
  5. Well they just got Ubaldo off the books, so it seems natural to quickly waste the resources.
  6. That is not a good deal for the Orioles. Cobb is an okay pitcher but when you look at what Phillies and Cubs paid for the Arrieta and Darvish, 17 mil a year for Cobb is horrible in this market
  7. Yep you are right. I thought he took a step back last year in terms of the numbers, but now that I look at it, he was an average hitter. Surprising, felt like he didn't really square up last year.
  8. This team needs Hernandez's pop in the lineup, especially if Martin and Morales take another step back. Morales isn't inspiring any confidence right now, I know he is a veteran, and Spring doesn't really count. Still. 1 HR in 42 Spring training at bats.
  9. I think this will be a good pitching ball club. I would still rank them behind Yankees Astros Redsox and Indians but it's going to be a good pitching staff The question is will the hitting be there
  10. I meant only in terms of offense and yes I would rank Orioles offense higher than us. Im surprised by looking at Fangraphs on the run scored projections for Jays. They seem optimistic
  11. It's scary to think this is our opening day lineup minus Davis. Definitely 4th best in the division
  12. If you are Tulo there is no reason you would leave even a penny.
  13. An entire off-season didn't heal his injury Long period here may mean he is done period. At least ay being a shortstop
  14. What i fear the most with the Tulo injury, is Ngoepe getting a s*** load of at bats. Gibbons has a thing for defensive shortstops who cant hit at all. John Macdonald got a tons of at bats under Gibby. Even when a decent hitting Eckstein was available, Gibby still gave a ton of at bats to Jmac. He is saying the same kinds of things about Ngoepe. I think Ngoepe is making the 25 man, even with Diaz and Solarte. With no Tulo, plus Travis and Donaldson. Gibby loves his defensive shortstops who cant hit at all.
  15. His Stuff isn't as dominant, but you could see the confidence on the mound, and the Slider looked amazing. He made Hernandez look horrible in the one at bat in the 5th. First getting him to swing on the Slider inside and then the Slider outside. I think Price might have a 4-5 Win comeback season, which would be a huge add for the Redsox.
  16. Price looks great. Like his old self
  17. Man Redsox seeing Santos so well. I don't think he makes the roster based on that appearance
  18. Yep, Hernandez might be going to AAA regardless. They will go with Granderson/Pillar/Grichuk and Solarte will fill in the outfield.
  19. I think he is moved as he is out of options anyways. Won't get much maybe an organizational arm but would give him a chance to play somewhere I'm not even sure if he plays in Buffalo because of the depth you want Hernandez Alford Dwight Smith all getting at bats
  20. Josh Donaldson's dealing with a calf issue per manager John Gibbons. Return date? "Not sure. Next few days, I would think. We'll see." # BlueJays https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-josh-donaldson-dealing-calf-issue/ …?amp=1
  21. Very possible that Tulo starts the season on 60 day GL
  22. I think Pearce probably starts the year on the DL anyways, so Teoscar will most likely come North. Not only that, I expect that he might get quite a few starts.
  23. "I believe the quantum fissure we discovered is a fixed point across the space-time continuum; a key-hole which intersects many other quantum realities. For any event there is an infinite number of outcomes. Our choices determine which outcomes will follow. But there is a theory in quantum physics that all possibilities that can happen do happen in alternate quantum realities." - Data
