My take...I guess it goes to prove that you shouldn't always believe the hype. I've always thought it intriguing the way that North American sports rank their younger players & prospects in a way which no other sports seem to (particularly here in Europe), before they've even stepped on to a field at the highest level. Does that add to the pressure, if you are so expected to succeed? I imagine it's a by product of the advanced stats employed by teams to evaluate prospects & players, but those stats don't necessarily measure the mentality or whatever it is about Bo and Biggio that makes them take to playing in the bigs like a duck to water.
Hopefully Vladito and Nate grow into their place on the team. They have time on their side and they wouldn't get to this level if they weren't good - they just need to be able to show it.
