Burned by greed.The Rangers and Sox were not going to give him the 7/350 he wanted.That's baseball time to move on. After thought-Am I the only one who thinks Shapiro is afraid to spend Rogers money.Was never a big fan of AA but he wasn't afraid to wet his beak.

Shapiro is a shrew baseball exe.He did a great job with the starters last year and he's doing it again this year with positions players.Time for everyone to get behind him.AA was a riverboat gambler not even in the same league. -

Hi-You All-Long time reader.First time poster.I'm not much of a talker.I just like to get an opinion you wouldn't get elsewhere But I got two cents here.Honestly the time to sign EE was last spring.They chose to gamble and lost.What would he have cost last spring.You will see him in another teams jersey on opening day.That is the way it goes.But that's not the way it had to go.Thanks Shapiro for playing craps with our star player.
