  1. Amusing that it still hurts after over a year. You are lucky that you are probably not old enough to remember the pain in '85. Too many fans here think the only way to put up a crooked number is with the long ball. KC and a few other teams have proved that myth wrong many many times. The Jays offence relies way to much on the HR. Good pitching usually prevails in the playoffs and can often shut down power based offence down. Striking out almost 10 times per game in each of the last 2 ALCS's was big problem for them. Too many guys trying to be Hero's. The Jays pitching was good enough to win but they could not manufacture runs in close games. Some even are able to do when they are down by 4 or 5 runs. That's what world series calibre teams do.
  2. Lol @ you thinking you know what your talking about. Ya, Yost had nothing to do with KC being 90 feet away from winning back to back championships. They won it all last year with no power and average starting pitching. But you're right - he had no clue what he was doing.
