Hey fellas, stalking Tribe fan here. I've stayed at the Holiday Inn DT the last 2 Home Openers, it's about a 8-10 minute walk to the stadium, not bad at all.
For first time Jays fans, I'd recommend checking out The Corner bar in RF, as well some of the local food stands out there. You won't be disappointed. Also, depending on what time you get there, entering the stadium from Gate D (behind home plate) is the best way to go. We got there 1.5 hours for ALDS Games 1 and 2 and walked right up. HUGE lines when you enter from the LF or CF gates.
I was at the last series vs. you guys in August, you Jays travel well! Met some great fans at the hotel bar, hopefully you guys don't travel TOO well tonight, slightly annoying to hear opposing teams fans haha. You guys were all respectful, so that counts for something.
I think it's going to be a good series, you guys are definitely the favorites, but this CLE team has fought and battled all year. I don't think this series will be any different. Go Tribe!
