There has to be more than pride and ego at play here. Is it possible he is ill or has some problem? He looks older and seems so fragile. It is beyond funny. There is no fight, no speed, no energy.

I have never seen such a dropoff as with J.B. One would think he has a neurological, psychological, or some problem. He seems unable to process. Not funny, just sad. He knows slow pitch coming but nada. He cannot catch up to 89 fastball. One wonders if there are serious issues. Gibbons has to address this.

There are unlucky at bats and signs of an attempt to advance runner, etc but JB is just trying to pull everything. I have seen Miggy highlights, etc and he isnt just flailing

Yes, getting rid of Norris et al, not to mention Thor, was foolish. The 2015 moves were foolhardy as they seemed reckless with AA knowing he would not be back. The JD trade can be defended but the others???

I cant see JD or Sanchez returning anytime soon. JB is not going to like playing out the string. Can't we sign Pagan or something just to seem like the team is doing something or are they counting pennies now, knowing season/obscene profits are tanking?

TV ratings are going in the toilet anyways. The tickets sold are sold due to flex pack pressure deadlines, etc. Can't see all of Canada wanting to follow this mess. Do batters have a plan, tho?

Ha, so true. AA screwed the team, though, not Shapiro. Norris is doing well as is Graveman and the Thor trade is still staggering. At the time it boggled the mind, not just the arm but the marketing opportunities. Can't wait to hear Wilner. Tickets have been sold but Rogers can't be happy about impending TV ratings drop!!

So glad I can golf without checking scores. Even if it was 1-0, this team, except for rare hit, does not score even if the opportunity is on silver platter. I have never seen such uninspiring games. Gibby refuses to push any buttons, such as send Carerra to break up double play, and hitting has sucked for ages now. I am sick of the Martin fluffing too. What does he really bring to this team? The only thing that is is fun is waiting for reactions to JB and RM's plate appearances. Did anyone think yesterday meant something? I look forward to rookies coming up.

I think Josh will have a great game. No stats to chase, he is hitting ball with more power. Still remember the KC scouts, et al saying how he was pulling everything in his MVP push last year. Love Josh but he seems to overswing at times late in reg. season

Yes, I am sure we want our BP facing righties; just hope damage isn't done by then. A stupid slap hit misplayed in field, etc followed by hit will suck life out of the stadium. I can just see Orioles aiming for Joey Bats in field

Big problem with Stro start is it allows Kim to hit, Trumbo to def. not play field, Bourn to play, etc. Yeah, sure subs can be made post-Liarano but man, imagine if game starts with Kim hit to RF, etc. I get the feeling Francisco will be in by fifth but that may be too late. This is the strongest Orioles lineup, at least compared to one facing Francisco. Go Jays...eeeek
