    Lots of empty seats for a Yankees series. Also, why is our offence the same in terms of approach? Big swing, swing, etc. Tanaka was over the plate but Martin and others, in replay slo mo, have eyes shut and monster swings. They are horrible on off speed

    So a lot of walk ups for Tampa? I am more concerned, tho, about tv ratings. The main interest in the game is to see how many strikeouts Salty will get. Plus it would be nice to hear something, anything, from Shapiro.

    Haven't heard much from Atkins or Shapiro lately. Can't wait to see attendance even tho people suckered into buying early. Only 30000 for Boston night game. Something has to give.     Salty is one thing but watching JB hit or take pitches is like watching the final third of Pride of the Yankees. It is sad.

    There is no way Jose is just pressing; something is wrong with him. He looks thin, sooooooooo old, etc. I don't even want to bitch at this point. Gibbons, however, needs the boot: he may not hit but his decision-making is suspect. Grilli did not had it, Salty is a horrible framer, we needed a strikeout or at least a non-walk! Roll the dice with someone else at that point.
