    Yeah I agree, it was more about it being stupid because we have a brand new regime. I have confidence that Shatkins will fill the holes resulting in losses to any of the three you mentioned and keep us in contention until hopefully some of the lower level guys become solid homegrown talent. Maybe wishful thinking, hopefully not!

    But why does this thread matter? How much has this apparent lack of ability to develop homegrown hitting talent affected the Jays of today? It's a stupid comment, and as someone said before, this is a completely different regime than the past, and they seem to have drafted some potentially promising position players.

    This thread is ridiculous as the Jays have one of the most talented offenses in the league over the last couple of years. Why the hell does is matter if the studs on our roster were drafted by the Jays or not? None of them were free agents signings, so as long as the organization makes savvy moves to keep the offense potent and the team contending, who gives a f*** where the talent originated?
