    Devon Travis looks really, really bad. Is there anyone else who can lead off? Smoak is awful. Want him off the team. Good for Stroman going all 9 innings. Will be interesting to see how Liriano does tomorrow against Os.

    Bautista looks really bad at the plate so far in terms of hitting. He needs to turn it around ASAP.

    Smoak needs to go. Bring up Rowdy Tellez. Hope and pray Liriano,Happ, Estrada get their s*** together. Move Martin to number 8th or 9th hitter. Pray JD gets better. Looked like he was limping slightly coming off the field.

    How much of a mouthpiece is Arden Zwelling for Rogers/Shapiro. In this article he pretty much states it as fact that EE will not be back next year. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/expectations-for-2017-now-fall-on-blue-jays-new-core/ Did Rogers/Shapiro tell him to write this so fans are prepared for it?

    Just that that's what industry sources think he'll get. Other sources say they wouldn't go more than 2 years.

    Regarding Gibbons being fired, Shapiro said in his interview with Brunt that Gibbons will be back next year. Of course things can change in the week or two that interview was done but it sounded like he'll be back.

    I know the players said the days off would be good for their health etc but they were on a hot streak so hopefully the days of don't put them in a slump.

    Jeff Blair, Brunt and Zwelling were talking about yesterday morning on the JB show. That throughout Sept there were lots of rumours and whispers of clubhouse drama/rift and that one player had an issue with another player specifically etc. Who know if true but wouldn't surprise me. But winning fixes everything right?

    Question: when do the Jays look at extending Estrada? I know he's locked in until 2017 but you have to think the Jays would like to get him for 2 more years past that. 2018 and 2019. Thoughts? I'm also very interested to see what they do with JD. Does some of the rumoured clubhouse drama not sit well with Shapiro and Atkins? Or do they extend him long term making him the new face of the franchise? I would really love it if Rogers put up the money for EE. I guess if they make it to the World Series it might happen. I read a comment on MLB Trade Rumors site that EE is only looking at 3 teams, Jays being one. It could be Bs but you never know.

    Jeff Blair and Brunt were saying this morning that Saunders made the right call on the bases. That he was thinking it would be caught so he needed to tag at 2nd. But the guys on TBS were saying it was a mistake. I think Tulo thought it was as well because you could see him taking to Saunders in dugout about it and I think he said "do you see what I'm saying. There's only one out". What was the correct thing to do?
