    Difference here is we actually have prospect depth now. Literally made the most of all our 1st round picks since they took over except Warmoth. He wasn't pissed Beeston was canned, he was pissed he didn't get the President job.

    I get Donaldson is a good hitter but I think this front office has seen enough of him to rule him out. There's a new clubhouse culture, that I don't think you want to bring him into.

    The draft picks are better. At this point we need finished products to compliment our young core, guys like Joe Ryan only add to your depth and you still have to go with further development. We are not in asset collect mode like the last few years, re-sign Semien and Ray then go find that 3B bat.

    ??? Kirk has been accruing service time for pretty much the entire season minus the week or so he was optioned down. This just seems like a weird deadline kind of move until they can move Jansen/McGuire for something. Might not be the greatest idea to be like Kirk is our full time starting catcher while actively trying to move the other.

    Biggio doing exactly what we expected of him the last two weeks yet you guys are complaining about one ATBAT. .270/.400/.405 over the last 14 days. He doesn't need to be Vlad or Bo to be a good hitter.

    That's stupid opinion, I can see why he disagrees. Maybe your thinking is right though, they should consider eliminating the MiLB all together and just throw draftees into the majors.

    Fixed, just wanted to get the thread up. Finally good to see Biggio back in the leadoff spot. Lineup looks pretty brutal after Guerrero, need Teoscar and Springer back.

    That doesn't even make sense, you need to review all the footage to determine there is not enough evidence.

    The college prospects are pretty underwhelming this year outside of the top 5-6 guys. The high school guys look to have much more potential and they'd probably be ranked higher if all the circuits were running last year. I would be all over guys like Kahlil Watson, Andrew Painter, Joshua Baez, Ben Montgomery, Thatcher Hurd and James Wood. We got Austin Martin last year and a bunch of college pitchers, I think we can take some riskier picks this year.

    We might have a 10 man bullpen with the kind of guys they are stockpiling. Who has options left between Zeuch, Merryweather, Borucki, Hatch, Kay, Murphy, Thorton, Waguspack, Tice? We already had to trade away Hector Perez. Probably another roster trade on the horizon.
