  1. Ideally the Yankees tieing it up in the 9th and then losing in extras would be good.
  2. Hey don't be a stranger. I think the Jays could beat either but Bosox seem to be the weaker team. Edit: I'm also told the Yankees can score at will. So there's that.
  3. Pete Crow Armstrong.
  4. Why can't MLB make simple radio/receivers work? Embarrassing.
  5. Weaver was great down the stretch.
  6. Only because of hindsight. If it had worked out you would hear nothing. That's the rub.
  7. Why not Chapman for a five out save?
  8. ...and smile to himself while he gives up a late inning home run. Well within reason.
  9. Of course you would. But that's because you don't know how to deploy bullpen arms.
  10. And Fried may have allowed four runs if left in. Just conjecture.
  11. Fried was clearly losing his command when Boone pulled him. Right call.
  12. There is some merit to the strategy that if you are going to face an absolute ace like Crochet in game one of a short series then you should position your ace (Fried) to pitch game two instead of game one.
  13. Fried chicken running out of gas. Now just have to wait for the Yankees bullpen to blow it.
  14. No doubt. The strongest part of the Yankees game (home runs) is the weakest part of ours (giving up home runs).
  15. Crochet has been great. Other than the Volpe hr (blind squirrel finds nut) he is getting it done. Bosox need to barrel up a few balls.
  16. Kirk plays a key defensive position and Stanton's legs don't figure into the game if he is hitting bombs. Bo isn't going to be legging out doubles in the gap. Big difference.
  17. Yankees gidp....love to see it.
  18. Interesting sure but the Red Sox and Cubs? nah.
  19. Bo is slow when healthy. What happens if he gets on base as a DH? Save him as an off the bench bat late in the game and then pinch run for him if he gets a hit. If he plays the Jays will be deploying him once a game. That's it.
  20. The Jays should bring Hoff in for the 8th in a hold situation just to test the waters. Give Seranthony a go. Risky but Hoffman is just too volatile.
  21. Sox have owned the Yankees in recent memory as far as the post season goes. They smoked them in the 2018 division series and bested them in the wildcard game in 2021. For some reason Cora turns into an evil genius come post season. Yankees are the better team but it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see the Redsox beat them again. Should be interesting.
  22. Depends if they get regular season Judge or post season Judge.
  23. It's not 2019. This is the kind of thinking I'm hoping the Blue Jays avoid. Perhaps take a look at Sherzer post season in 2022 (Mets) and 2023 (Rangers). You want that? Hard pass.
  24. Thanks tips. I didn't know that the Jays would have their work cut out for them with the Yanks/Redsox. I assumed the wildcard winner wouldn't show up and just forfeit the division series. I didn't say I was worried who we would play in the other bracket, just stated my preference.
