    Vlad is going to get max time at third because I think the plan has been, for a while now, that JD will get traded at the deadline and for sure not re-signed. The optics look so much better for Shatkins in saying, "Yes, we couldn't come to an agreement with JD but Vlad is ready to go at third base." Makes sense to me at least.....I think.
