    I think it is related to advertising/game setup by broadcasters before first pitch.

    I would like to have seen what the spin rates look like with velocity numbers side by side. That being said, it isn't uncommon for spin rates to decrease in later innings so I'm not sure what the arguement is. Seems like incomplete data to draw conclusions.
