  2. Looks like Schneider finally started reading my posts and put Merrifield leadoff. Thanks John.
  3. July 28 (7:07pm) Bichette - 1 Point - Vladdy - 1 Point - Springer - 2 Points - Belt - 2 Points - Chapman - 3 Points - Jonn Jansen - 3 Points - JaysAllMighty Varsho - 4 Points - Omar Merrifield - 6 Points - Kiermaier - 7 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points
  4. Kk, Merrifield, and Chapman drag it the other way. It all comes out in the wash.
  5. I don’t know but Kirk sure looked fatigued the last third of last season and his numbers took a corresponding down turn. It could have been a case of correlation does not imply causation but I highly doubt it. He is out of shape for a pro baseball player playing a physically demanding position. His cardio is likely slightly above par of an average middle aged man. If Jansen has another injury keeping him out a number of weeks, Kirk can’t be counted on to take on the extra workload.
  6. Back when Ken Griffey Jr. played with Seattle and later with Cinci I made a point of trying to get out to games when he came to Toronto. Some players you just have to see. Ohtani is one of those.
  7. If Ryu comes back and is full value 2020 Ryu and Manoah is just meh, does Manoah stay in the rotation? If Ryu comes back and shits the bed, while Manoah concurrently shits the bed, what's the plan? Does Atkins pull the trigger on a #4/5 at the deadline? What other choice would he have? Best case scenario, both Manoah and Ryu pitch well and we run with a six man rotation.
  8. Ah I see...... deleted. Should have known Trent Thornton couldn't be moved without the message board blowing up.
  9. JaysAllMighty steps up with the winning GDT after a terrible loss. LET'S GO JAYS!
  10. Taking 2/3 from the Dodgers is pretty good. It could have been a sweep, but always good to win the last game of a series before heading home.
  11. He would actually be the perfect skipper for this 2023 version of the Jays.
  12. The guy has been a revelation. Thanks to Atkins and our pitching lab:p
  13. Doing it against the Dodgers is something else. These guys are no slouches.
  14. I saw Mitch White walk past the camera. I hope Schneids isn't getting ideas.
  15. Would Kikuchi make to the 6th inning with Kirk calling this game? I think not.
  16. It would be worth it for the sac flys alone with a runner on third.
