So it looks like everyone's pretty content with their picks? Pretty tempted to kick things off early since it's looking like a pretty boring weekend, windows wouldn't start ticking until Monday though.
Just a reminder the draft will officially begin Monday starting with the MiLB portion. If anyone wants to kick it off early on Sunday with their selection that will be fine since I figure a few of us will be busy with work during the day. I'd also like to thank everyone to keeping the pick swaps to a minimum since I wasn't looking forward to inputting all that crap, seems like most of us have learned our lessons previously.
In my opinion when the Jays hired Alex they were basically just throwing s*** at the wall hoping it would stick. It was kind of a laughable time for the organization. Alex had his ups and downs and obvious payroll parameters and wasn't able to build from the ground up. He did however bring the Jays into contention eventually with a massive string of trades. At least he gave Shapiro a favorable position to work with and maybe he'll learn from his superiors in LA and get another shot a GM/President down the road.
That's rich considering you are using AVG as a basis for your argument for a guy who walks a lot of batters. Do your stupid list with OBPA or something, your ignoring half the data and overly righteous about it to boot, calm down man.
Nope he's not a lights out reliever, there's no evidence to support this.
Lights out relievers can strike out batters when facing some bad luck, Sanchez just loads the bases up.
Cool, a .182 Babip is not a red flag at all. Everyone else on that leader board is substantially closer to league average so once that happens to Sanchez he's going to be mediocre at best without some serious improvements in his skill.
You're argument was for him to be used a starter though..you're argument was cherry picking, I just sprinkled in some s***** numbers to debunk your bs.
Lol, get your facts straight? What's his K/9? He had a 1.39 K/BB over 80 IP last year which is pretty terrible regardless of his GB rate, you're a dumbass.
Revere didn't even make this lineup better, I don't think we have to lean on Pompey to do that much, just play solid D and provide some value on the base paths.
I'm concerned about a lack of a 4th pitch. Not many successful (if any) RHP starters are going out there with just a strictly fastball/slider/change combo.
