    Maybe not, but he was getting beat on high 80s/low 90s high FBs earlier in the season.

    How do you know he hasn't already? He's been hitting a lot of high FB since his return. He hit a 3-R HR recently off a high FB. I think it was off Young?

    Absolutely. Why does our BP have to suck so much. Osuna and Grilli is all we can rely on. Why not call up Barnes and Dermody?

    The curve tends to work best paired with a 4SM since the release point tends to be similar. There may be a correlation with the decrease of 4SM usage?

    Much better command in 2015 and it was a small sample.

    Probably. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought, "It's the A's, I shouldn't have to change my style to beat them". Apparently the 2SM he used in 2014 is different than the grip he's used the past two seasons. Perhaps a change back to that would be better for him?

    Reflective in his poor command tonight. I didn't check tonight's pitch mix in comparison to the last 2 starts, but he was at 54% 2SM tonight and 74% FB overall.
