    Whatever it is we as a country are doing is working right now (opening up with caution, mask policies, social distancing rules, quarantine protocol, etc), this disease is very tricky as a small outbreak can spread like wildfire and numbers can go up exponentially. Is watching the Blue Jays play at the Rogers Center with the blue walls and empty blue seats really worth the small chance of an outbreak, is it worth all the resources and manpower to make sure this asterisk of a season goes ahead perfectly? If the US wasn't such a shitshow this wouldn't be a problem, so if you guys want to direct your hate at someone blame the country to the south of us.

    Why even take that chance though? even if it is a very small chance of the virus spreading, why take the chance? there's no fans allowed in anyway.

    New York turned it around because they locked it down. Yes, Florida should be performing all those tests because they are an epicenter of an outbreak, they have a high positivity rate and I straight up don't trust their death numbers.

    C'mon now you're REALLY going to deny this? I mean we got our share of crazy mf'ers but now as much as the states do. There's also alot of studies that have come out saying masks are more than just "minimal help". Cuomo looks good because since getting blindsided by the virus NY has turned it around which is the complete opposite of what is happening in Florida (and Arizona/Texas), where they had ample time to prepare but they just chose to ignore it, opened everything up, and now it's a massive shitshow.

    We're not though, we are just opening things up slowly and strategically, it's not like were on full out lockdown mode. You gotta live your life but that doesn't mean doing whatever the hell you want recklessly, we are still in the middle of the worst pandemic since 1918 and some people either are forgetting that or just fatigued, I don't blame them though...it's been hard for everyone.

    That and they also have a significant amount of crazy yahoos in the southern states and Cali, where they think putting a fabric on their faces equals violation of freedom...we got less of them up here, and they opened everything up way too early.
