I'm glad OP created this thread to talk about moderation. I am a long time Blue Jays fan and lurker (hello) and I created an account to weigh in on these issues. This message board has become impossible to read. I used to read the MLB.com Blue Jays message board but stopped when I found this one. It features less personal attacks than this one, but I do prefer the level of discussion that occurs here.
Recently though, the people whose posts I like reading no longer seem to post much. There are a few people here who have decided to make it not fun for everyone by creating many accounts and spamming the heck out of every thread.
Also there was a thread recently where one of the moderators (not sure which one) used a homophobic slur. His post looks to be deleted but I haven't seen that addressed anywhere and I found the exchange repulsive. Perhaps the administrator (people called him Juiced?) could weigh in on this matter too.
