    First...from an outsider...Gibson is one of these newer younger umps that will toss you for looking at them cross eyes. Bad enough we have older umps that think they are entitled by seniority. Now we have younger umps that are doing...i don't know what....establishing a reputation for being a hard ass....ridiculous. As for the umps and a particular dislike for the Jays.....all of MLB is New York Yankee biased....it is so bad and so bare faced. But they apparently don't care. Joe Torre.....Do you really think there is no ulterior motive in the position he holds at MLB? Do you honestly expect a level playing field with Torre and his bunch around? Anyway good luck tomorrow.

    Don't think any of the networks are showing Sunday, Jays/Banks in my part of the world. So good luck tomorrow guys. Stomp them again.....won't jinx you by sayin' the word. Just do it.

    I think there is a good chance that the Bankees will be sucking on the O's tailpipe before this is over. If I am not mistaken, after today the Bankees have 11 more against "these" Jays. How many of those do you think the Bankees will win? Again, I really think Girardi has done it with mirrors to this point. But the dog days will catch up to the old folks home....and even with what you would have to admit were better performances from the Bankee rotation than expected....their pen is STILL getting taxed to slow death.

    Don't you guys get it. I don't think the Bankees had enough confidence in this their old folks home of a team to make moves at the deadline....You can't convince me that Cashman is stupid enough to think they had enough as it was to go the distance. So I suspect they will be circling the drain pipe for the rest of this season.

    Should be clear by now that the Jays were going to do whatever it takes this year....as in all in. That the Bankees did nothing going into the deadline maybe speaks volumes about what they think. You can't tell me they thought they didn't have holes....They are all over the place. So what????? the needle freak old men, the bullpen and Girardi are taking them into the post season......????

    I do think Girardi has been doing it with mirrors with this Bankees team to date. But he is outgunned here by a big margin. It will be interesting to see how the Bankees and Joe deal with the pressure the Jays and even the O's are going to put them under going out the season.

    all right!!!! Thought that would backfire on Joe. You can't take a pitcher where Nova was....have him turkey out against EE putting him behind the eight ball for Smoak and then expect him to take Smoak to the woodshed. Nova maybe two innings ago.... Stupid....but got to love Joe for it.

    Yup....still a surprise cause that loads the bases. Sort of a gutless move by the Bankees I think. Now that I have said that it better not work!

    This would be a perfect inning for the Jays to plate anything...1 run ...multiple runs...any runs!

    Thanks.....I figure Price becomes the Jays anchor leg man out the season and into post season. Is that what you guys expect of him also? This is just the kind of start he is capable of giving.

    Red Sox fan just here to follow games into the end of the season. Bunting....I don't think they teach it anymore....or if they are are teaching it, nobody is caring to listen. OK for power hitters not to be able to lay one down. But for guys struggling with maybe a .250 BA and a 700 and something OPS, not being able to bunt is criminal. Gibbons may just be expecting this to stay low scoring and is trying to get up on the Bankees before they get to their pen. 5th inning...maybe not that bad a decision.
