    I’m not saying this is what’s happening in this particular game, but shouldn’t starting pitchers success be treated a lot like hockey goalies? Sometimes you just run into a goalie who has a incredible game even if he’s having a less than spectacular season, and I feel like pitching can be considered the same.

    There is no doubt some of the problem is mental at this point so I don’t really understand not batting him lower in the order taking some pressure of him; or even just straight up giving him a day off.
