    To me he seems genuinely happy for all his teammates. I'm sure he's in awe of what JD is doing right now, but he's been there before too. I would have to think he enjoys not having the full weight of the team squarely on his shoulders, and it probably helps him enjoy the success the team is having when the pressure isn't all on him.

    Let's just hope they don't give the Jays any trouble later this month, or we'll never hear the end of it.

    No doubt it had to be taken during the riots, though. No way there wouldn't be anyone there(no accounting for taste), especially in those seats.

    He probably just meant it as a representation of how their season has gone into the toilet and quieted the fans' excitement, rather than meaning that literally nobody is showing up to their games. That's my guess anyway.

    Seriously, think about this. Fans of the team that has won more than anyone are crying about other fans being bandwagoners. These are also the same people who accuse the Jays of being roiders. Yankees fans are some truly special snowflakes.

    JD is the spark in this team. They all contribute of course, but he breathed new life into the organization. He's one of those special players that don't come around every day.
