  1. Yeah, and his velocity dropped
  2. “I had little nagging things here and there that didn’t require DL time,” *Cough* ******** *Cough* Best part of that article: ... he’s back on a full weighted ball program.
  3. Nah, he always just looked lazy... he actually had a 77% SB rate in Toronto, and 19-3 in his final season here
  4. Haha, it's funny when you say it like that, even if it's true.
  5. Lies! J/K...... welcome
  6. I don't think Morrow will ever be dominant again but he could be a serviceable starter for some NL team
  7. Always good to have confirmation. Travis finally put a decent season together, though his numbers vs. lefties were a fluke, I don't think he's turned any corners.
  8. If he is I doubt it lasts
  9. I barely follow anyone on Twitter but I get enough information from him to be worthwhile... I don't read his articles and I don't care if he capitalizes names. We live in a day and age where people don't have anything better to do than to bitch and complain about nothing.
  10. No he wasn't, he is being another douchebag on the internet... absolutely no need for it.
  11. Yeah he probably is, but people are naive to judge someone based off one bad incident...
  12. And yet he caps the "M" for millions
  13. Yes and no. If you already have big chunks of that tied up in over-valued players, under-performers, aging guys, then maybe not.
  14. ^Dodgers making too many transactions.
  15. Gross, what happened to there being no payroll restrictions
  16. No, he's really not. He's at least 2 WAR. Steamer has him at 1.7 but that's only 489 PA. I'd even argue 2-3+ WAR if given the chance to play everyday.
  17. Thanks, you're a great poster dude. A lot of value in your posts. But I'm not sure about his WAR being based entirely on 'regression', since steamer uses the last 3 seasons with more weight on the most recent season, you can still expect that 2012 season is bringing that projection down by some degree. You could call that regression, there's a lot of assumptions in that type of projection.
  18. What I don't get is why would Josh Donaldson drop to 5.6 WAR after going 7.7, 6.4 the last 2 seasons... I guess it's put some weight on that 2012 season. You'd think with the new ballpark his WAR would go up...
  19. I wouldn't go with wRC+ and then generalize their defense as above-average. Instead just go with WAR: 5.6 Donaldson 5.4 Longoria 5.2 Machado 3.9 Headley 3.6 Sandoval And for fun... 3.8 Lawrie By the way: Are the projections updated to include their new home ballpark for 2015?
  20. That is the uggliest website I've ever seen.... Right next to India's Space Research website (their equivalent to NASA)...... http://www.isro.org/
  21. So true. Mind boggling talent, and watch Lawrie end up being the best of them all
