  1. Dude I had that crappy Rogers ya'll have up there. I remember being up there for that 1st year, and it was a big college football game on. And I was looking for it on your TSN or whatever, and instead they showed the "Curling World Championships" haha!!! That's when I knew I was screwed as a sports fan. And I don't like Hockey, so it was a difficult adjustment. And then no ESPN, was a killer. It def was an eye opening experience. That TSN channel sucks...
  2. Well your Climate plays into why a place is desired place for a player to live in or play. All that plays into why players wouldn't want to play and or live in Toronto as a free agent. Or even just as a big time professional athlete. Having lived in Toronto for those few years, Toronto was pretty boring for a city of it's size. Very conservative city, just didn't have anything special about it. And if you like anything besides Hockey then good luck, lol. Hockey on your T.V. stations 24/7. Trying to find a NCAA football or basketball games, NBA games, not happening unless you pay extra for something you can get in the U.S. with a normal cable or satellite package. No ESPN or nothing and that crap was annoying. Give me Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Vegas, New York, L.A, San Diego, Phoenix, D.C, over Toronto any day. Even cities that are perceived to be bad as far as crime are still nice cities that Athletes like to live in. Detroit, Baltimore are still major cities in the U.S. Detroit has some nice places in the suburbs of it, rich luxurious areas.
  3. Just gave my opinion. How is giving your opinion trolling?
  4. Uhhh you do know that the U.S. has the most millionaires and billionaires in the world right? lol. Those millionaires and billionaires wouldn't move from the U.S. to go to Canada if you doubled their networth tomorrow. haha. Toronto is a decent city, I actually lived there a few years because my ex is from there. So I know first hand how it is there. It's cold as hell there most of the year, and people there don't have much personality so it makes the city pretty boring. The U.S. is so deep with great cities that's it's not even fair to compare man. And then you can live in any climate you want. Great beaches all over Florida, up to Virginia Beach across over to California. And when I saw you put Atlanta on your little list, I know you are way off. Atlanta is a beautiful city, with great weather hosted the Summer Olympics, the Super Bowl. I could go on and on about Atlanta as it's one of my favorite cities. Honestly though man, if guys had the option to play in a U.S. city or a Canadian city they are going to choose the U.S. city 9 times out of 10. The U.S. is just where everything is. Lots of options and great cities to live in. If your a rich athlete why would you want to live in a cold city like Toronto? If they are going to live in a cold city up north in the U.S. New York is a cool place to be if you have to be in a cold place. That's just how it is man, nobody wants to live in Canada. Not when you have the option of living in the U.S. I lived up there a few years, I don't wanna go back up there to live. Visit yeah, but to live? No
