    I suspect the rest of AAs moves will be in the new year. However if he isn't able to plug the bullpen holes I fully expect Sanchez n Norris to be in the pen

    Also had a decent FIP last year. Not saying he should be closing or even be a late inning reliever, but he could strengthen that mid core which is really bare right now.

    Dodgers shopping Brandon League willing to pick up half his price tag. Brandon League at 3.5 Million, I would take as a mid reliever.

    Its not a first round pick. Its after everyone has picked in the first round, thus it can't be a first round pick. Any draft pick will not have an impact on this team in the next five years, and most of the fanbase is sick of waiting.

    Yes lets compare him to hall of famers, mean while lets forget all the hurt attack cases. I remmember the hard on people here had for Fielder same thing. Once they get there money, food consumption goes way up.

    Its hard to respect you when you say things like that. Often you make sense, but then you go ahead and post up the same type of non sensicle fantasy land scenerios like the rest of the people here.

    is your best case based upon some sort of a fantasy land. I often wonder if people here have actually seen Morrow pitch. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't since he pitches so rarely.

    If the jays allocate the money saved here to the bullpen I have no issues. However if this was just a case of not willing to pay for Melky than I would be disappointing. We could have done a lot worse at DH then Melky.

    Really agree with this. Both actually very much so. Jansenn was a good closer before that vacation trip. Zero problems with bringing him back to close.

    Just because you don't see something doesn't mean its not there. I don't too many fat disgusting out of shape baseball players that don't spend the majority of their 30s out of the disability list.

    I cant believe how average the Sox rotation is. I would have rather added a James Shields than all three of the guys they added. I would also take our rotation over theres, with Stroman

    RedSox might have added a few great players, but the Jays have added two of what maybe top ten players in all of baseball in terms of value. Masterson was not too great last year, and I have never thought much of Porcello. Miley will get a reality check once he gets into the AL. As for there two big free agents signing both above average players, but neither overwhelming 2 Great players >>>>>>>> 10 above average players. Jays have added two game changing top ten talents

    So you think its a good idea that this team should commit close to ten billion for a bullpen pitcher, who hasn't successfully pitched in the bullpen as a trial, knowing that even if he is successful he wont be here after 2015, while at the same time has lots of injury concerns. Given the stage where this team is, we need strong sure fire bullpen options. I'd take Jason Frasor over Brandon Morrow.

    Morrow is not the answer to anyone of this teams remaining needs

    Give them Norris but make sure you get both Holland and Wade Davis back. Then our bullpen is even better :-)
