    So virtually what you are saying is that being off by 9 total wins for a team, as the best case scenario is still good? I can guess within 9 wins, just by looking at a teams roster.

    a 90% correlation is not enough, especially in regressive stats. Considering the large number of factors that drive both WINS and FWAR. Based on this a team could have a total expectation of wins of 90 based on FWAR and yet only win 81 games. To me that is too great a margin to rely on FWAR, considering that 9 Wins usually separate a great team from an average one. What is the expected correlation between FWAR projections and Actual FWAR for 2014.

    IMO a correlation of around 90% is not enough.

    Has anyone actually done variance analysis with respect to a teams total fangraph wins last year vs. their actual win total? So many of you are throwing FWAR around, would be interesting to see how FWAR total of a team deviates from their actual win total.

    I would not touch Norris, Sanchez, or Pompey but all others should be expandable if it means improving the team this year. Major pieces obviously cannot be acquired with the lessor prospects but its hard for me to believe the relief core cannot be improved upon using them.

    A bit worrying that nothing has been done on the pen yet. Training camp is now not too far, I would have to assume AA is working his butt off, but still. This pen is not good enough and at least 2 relievers away (Assuming Sanchez is a reliever). Need Proven Relievers. :mad:

    No don't care for big bang theory I've seen almost every episode of Philadelphia its just not that funny. Its a good show but very overrated
