  1. None of this is reasonable
  2. Well hopefully they will be a couple of games up on the wildcard at the deadline giving them incentive to add Oh wait
  3. there is nothing wrong with this starting pitching staff. Its not the fanciest but its decent and reliable. the bullpen on the other hand is weak, very weak.
  4. No one is saying that People are saying that while Jays had a good off season they are shooting themselves in the foot by overlooking pitching depth
  5. Last year if Stroman had started the year in the rotation instead Dustin McGowan experiment
  6. Don't worry after Sunday you won't be hearing from me for about 6-8 weeks. I will be entrenched in the cricket world cup
  7. If we have to worry about 2022 then we might as well close up shop now. We aren't fit to compete in mlb
  8. Actually glory is afraid that Norris will fail as a starter and thus wants to avoid having to face that possibility by keeping him in the minors
  9. Can't wait till farm boy Jenkins is being run out there in tied games in the bottom of the eight BC he is a big strong guy
  10. If he is ready today why should he be in AAA What will he learn in 2 months in Buffalo that will make him a better pitcher
  11. There are only 3 experienced mlb relievers. Sanchez is basically a rookie what if he struggles out of the gate? Redmond will close games for the Jays this season
  12. Lol so 1 injury and Jenkins and redmond ate the setup men and loup is closing
  13. I counted 36 wat
  14. I'd rather Norris start problem is that the pen even with Sanchez is simply not good enough and not close to being good enough
  15. If the likes of Axford just got minor league deals can't see dustin get anything more I expect him back here
  16. Both Sanchez and Norris will be relievers for the coming year.
  17. Its not Cecil is going to pitch 160 innings this season according to most here, because he is the jays best middle reliever setup man and closer. any time you question the jays relief depth, the quick answer brett cecil comes back.
  18. Having said that the President of the team made it clear that they would be under last years payroll
  19. @twistedlogic I'm talking about MLB depth and not AAA depth Can't believe you did so much work for that post. Respect
  20. I just an am not understanding why it's so hard to add some depth here. We have a good core and yet we are sacrificing the back end to save a few bucks
  21. What a great deal for the Padres. I would almost pick Shields over Scherzer. In my opinion deal of the off season. Likely bought 15 WAR over for years at less than $5M a WAR
  22. Let's just trade two top 10 prospects for a medicare pitcher instead
  23. The fact that Shields hasn't signed yet tells me there is at least more than 1 team involved.
