This team has been playing itself out of the playoffs and that's ultimately the end of the line. I want Gibbons f***ing gone too, but this comes down to the team playing mediocre if not downright terrible in 2/3 of the games in September.
When you have a team like the Jays, you should be able to be better than below .500 in the month (forget this game) that matters most in the season, end of story.
No it doesn't. It means another year pissed away when the Yankees are going to be much better and the Red Sox will continue to contend next year.

This is exactly why I ask where the mindset has been. This type of s*** has been happening far, far too often this month and cost them the division and may cost them a playoff spot.
