Bold II) Yeah because the current rotation projects to 3 years in the future amirite. They are trying to improve the rotation and Stroman going down is something AA couldn't control.
Bold III) Delgado and Halladay weren't in the main AA-era.

Bold V) That is simply a terrible way to look at things when you evaluate a GM. There are also things that go down that can't be controlled by a GM, like the injury bug hitting like the Black Death in 2012 and 2013.
The Reyes, Rogers and Dickey deals weren't good (I'm even willing to overlook the Reyes one somewhat since they also were thinking they were getting a 1-2 starter in Josh Johnson who absolutely s*** the bed).
