    I have my doubts Pompey will hit though. I would keep him in AAA next year for tudoring at give team depth as injuries will occur

    Depth also....every team has injuries, look at Yankees or Baltimore? But to play a Goins or Gose everyday for 2 months, AA should never had that short of a bench in first place

    Rasmus is a cancer. Jays played best they have in 15 years back in May when he was on the DL. Now 9-2 since he was benched. Cardinals after they traded him when immediately from .500 team to World Series. Happening 3 times can't be a fluke

    At 3m Navarro's salary not really a factor. TDA is also injury prone and playing on turf would likely be a problem. As happens often here. Surprised to see TDA hit 13HR in little over half a season though.

    On Roundtable last night they were saying his stats up to 30 years old are similar to Darin Erstad and Mark Kotsay. Both players after 30 their game started to fall off. They also said where Melky is big name outfielder in a thin free agent market some team a player away could spring for 5-75m. Way they talked he is all but done in Toronto
