I'm done with mlb.tv after this year. I've been a subscriber for like 9 years and they can never figure out the bugs. Tonight i'm watching on delay because i'm at my kids t-ball. My settings are start game from beginning and of course it starts live. Fortunately it started during a replay and i was able to move to the first without seeing the score. Then in the 7th with when Betances came in the game skipped forward to the 10th to live.

I don't get what the hoopla is for this guy. He's perennially been given a top 5 payroll. Sure the Tigers were good in what has probably been the worst division in baseball the last 10 years. He's left the team in shambles with terrible contracts, terrible farm system and an at best average team on the field. Any GM can throw money at problems if given the opportunity.

They had to call up Muni. For those that haven't followed Tulo he sits 1-2 days per week. Valencia is fine for 2nd in an emergency but he can't play 1 or 2 days a week. I guess he could have been passable for 3 or 4 starts until Travis got back.

Doesn't Valencia need to clear waivers to be traded now? Whereas yesterday he could have been traded to anyone. There's no way he gets all the way to the Yanks. Not a chance.

Doesn't Revere play a lot of CF with the Phils? Moving a passable CF to LF might actually make him quite valuable defensively.

He's definitely an upgrade over the current options but better not be anything of significant value going the other way.
