  1. Can't get on the laptop here as my stupid woman is f***ing about getting visas for our upcoming trip to Turkey. Told her she's got five minutes to finish that s*** or there will be blood. Meanwhile I'm relying on you lot to keep me up to speed
  2. Good afternoon my blue brethren. Last nights game was too late for me to follow as I was up very early this morning. I then left for work without my phone and I don't do a job with internet access so only just got in and checked ESPN f***ing great to get home and see we won, it's cheered me up.
  3. Out with a whimper again, just not even making it difficult at the moment
  4. This team is going to see me out on the streets. 0230 ish am i sat up in bed checking ESPN on my phone and saw it was 6-6 No way I could go back to sleep at that point so I just carried on refreshing until we had crushed those maggots into submission. Mrs gets up for work this morning and starts accusing me of messaging girls during the night "I was checking on the bluejays" I protested but she's not having it. It does seem a bit implausible I suppose when she knows I only stumbled onto the game a few weeks ago. I'll watch the game with full audio tonight and see how she likes that the moaning old bastard.
  5. Well this is a much more civilised time for me. When I watch live the Jays win and it's a lovely sunny Sunday evening and I'm in for he duration this evening.
  6. That's f***ing awful, mindless bastards.
  7. Cheers for that maahface so the Jays are popular through Canada then? Things have changed here now, not much trouble these days since they clamped down and started putting people in prison for it, you'd still get a lot of abuse if you sat in with home fans though.
  8. I noticed at last nights game that there seemed to be quite a lot of Jays fans in the stadium. Is that usual? Do you receive an allocation of tickets or just buy them off the home team website? And finally do you ever get any trouble for being an away fan amongst the home fans?
  9. Just read through the thread, pretty funny. Despair to hope to jubilation. Great stuff, I'm suffering from sleep deprivation but it was well worth it.
  10. Right I'm sticking this one through to the end tonight with it being Friday. It's time I started asking the odd stupid question, otherwise I'm going to learn f*** all. So then, if I start with this >> Hendricks went 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA in two starts for Toronto last month, and he's 6-0 with a 1.92 ERA in 12 games - 10 starts - in the minors. Can someone just run through that sentence and explain exactly what that means please. I'm not going to pollute the thread with this s***. I'll limit myself to one question per week. Feel free to insult and abuse me whilst answering the question. Cheers
  11. I was thinking of sticking through to the end of this one which would leave me with about 4 hrs sleep before work but beds looking increasingly inviting I'm afraid.
  12. I'm definitely new. I doubt even one of these alleged multi account lunatics you have would have moved across the Atlantic to hide their identity. Visited Toronto in May (great city by the way) and took in a Blue Jays game (v Tampa) and enjoyed it 50 times more than I thought I would. I've been to a lot of American sports events over the years and enjoyed most of them but I've just felt strangely drawn back to the Jays since I got home. Found myself looking for streams to watch the games whenever I can and checking results the following morning when I can't. I got up at 2am for a pee last night and before I knew it I was logging online to see how the game was going. I have travelled quite a lot throughout the years and I'm not one of these cranks that has multiple teams that they claim to follow, other than my local football (soccer) team the Blue Jays are the 1st I've felt some kind of attachment to, no idea why. The problem I have forum wise is that I have no f***ing idea what most of the threads are about. I thought I understood the game when I was there (with the help of my son) but then when you get to talking about the nuances of the game I'm lost and so I can't really add much. Hopefully I'll learn as I go along. Should be back over for a few games this year and finances allowing I plan on getting over at least once a season in future. Funnily enough I despise the way my local team (United) have become some kind of international freak show with tourists from all over the world turning up every week and taking tickets away from local people. I suppose that makes me a hypocrite but as I understand it it's the Yankees that bandwagon jumpers head to so hopefully I wont dilute the hardcore support too much.
  13. I don't mind being abused or hounded so bear me in mind when you're looking to insult someone.
  14. United mate, and Blue Jays of course
  15. Tell me more about this sexual conquest of yours. The baseball will take care of itself.
