Doesn't accomplish anything? Pissing off Oriole fans is an accomplishment. You think if we had lost 5 in a row and the O's had swept the Twins, Calrip wouldn't be here chirping the f*** out of us? Turns out his team is s*** now so he goes off and hides. We're Canadian but we don't have to be polite all the time. f*** that team and their awful city.

Putting the ball in play between defenders either pull or opposite field is a skill. If he has a high BABIP in the past then he's just really good at putting the ball in exactly the right spot. I wouldn't brush it off entirely as luck...The only alternative is Smoak, who I do prefer but that's for defensive reasons in a stupid good lineup.
