    I would think a called strike is still better than a swinging strike! Means the batter is not picking up what the pitcher is throwing down or sitting on and waiting for his pitch! Plus on a called strike it has removed all possibilities of ever being hit with no swing! Hence a ever bigger miss then if he swung and missed! Hard to foul off balls if you don't swing either too!

    Not really as long as the get there work in and learn! It's about winning ! Always is always will be, nobody cares if you finish second. Just means you were the first loser! Plus getting out of the gates strong with so many games against our division is vastly more important too! Why would a pen of Redman,Castro,Osuna,Hynes,Schultz,West,Loup,Cecil not be a improvement over last year? The question is always to get better, don't want No Scrubs!

    No biggie! Now demote Estarda or Dfa him and we are golden! Take the Best Team North! Means Castro and Osuna to me. They are the better pitchers right now, how can you say they are not?

    That's why I suggested them as in the piggybacks or if you like long men 2-3 inning guys to get them innings! Both are better then Estrada and can learn more up then down I would think! plus Norris/ Castro easy 32 wins! Lol

    Why would the piggyback scare you? Both Shanchez and Norris are the Starters just Castro and Osuna come in to finish the games not flipping starts between them! 5/4 or 6/3 innings even at 3 guarantees Castro Osuna 96 innings of work this year!

    Hutch / Redman Dickey/ Hynes/ Delbar Norris/ Castro piggyback Buehrle/ Schultz / Loup Shanchez / Osuna piggyback With Cecil as the Closer to finish things when needed! That's one Sexxxy pitching staff!
