    A larger sample size against lefties? Hes got 533 PA but I mean its either you keep him or he goes to FA, I don't think he has an option left. Ideally he isn't going to be at 3rd base because Lawrie will be there and they will bring in a 2B. His defence at 1B is better than Lind and EE so Im not sure what you are against. He is also good insurance in case Lawrie goes down with injury because that probably will happen.

    We can hope they move to Montreal. I wonder if that were to happen if management would stay in place or would they all leave. The Rays must be thinking of trading Zorbist now and get as much value as they can.

    There has been so much talk in the media about Kevin Pillar getting everyday Abs and the Blue Jays needing to find out if he is an everyday player..Like there is nothing to find out, hes a 4th outfielder at best. The guy has a 44% oSwing % with 0 walks and never showing the skill to be able to walk at more than 6% in the minors. Oh and he will be 26 next year

    Meh Lind still misses his share of balls in the dirt. Most likely you think this because Edwin is awful at picking balls in the dirt which most 1st baseman should be able to do.

    Agreed. I can't see Lugo turning into anything. Doesn't walk nearly enough and will most likely be moved to 3rd base. This is just an opinion but I wonder if there are any relatively successful MLB position players that have struggled to put up an OPS of .700 in full season A ball.

    I agree, but the comment sounded like he was a lot better at SS than what the Jays thought he would be. They are going to have a hard time having all these guys play SS since you have Urena, Barreto and Lugo, also to lesser extent Guidino. If Lugo doesn't deserve a promotion and Barreto does, what do you do?

    His range before this year was really good but the errors were what cost him. This year was almost the complete opposite.

    Because Castro is a legit SS on a good contract and you don't need to trade that for a guy who can get "200 innings and be a vetrin presents". Its not like the Cubs are going for a pennant next season and need to sacrifice long term value for short term value. Shame on you if you were actually being serious..
