  1. What can he do, though? Who would you get rid of? And what could you get for them?
  2. Honestly not what I was expecting... http://www.thestar.com/content/dam/thestar/sports/baseball/2011/07/01/adam_bomb_more_the_strong_silent_type/lind_wife3.jpeg.size.xxlarge.letterbox.jpeg
  3. You could make the argument that because the league hadn't been integrated in Ruth's time, that it did not fully represent the best players of baseball. lol
  4. It's more in general. He often looks lethargic.
  5. Guy has no hustle. It's like he forgets he's a basketball player at times.
  6. Isn't Office reruns shown on some stations? Just watch it on television.
  7. http://vimeo.com/97189077
  8. I think the idea is that they'd benefit more from being able to play in practices with the pros.
  9. Is there any real reason to think he is behind it? Drake isn't a designer, and he doesn't work for a design firm. And as far as I know, he isn't paid by the Raptors. It's possible they were influenced by his brand, but I doubt that they would create an alternate logo just because of him.
  10. That might get expensive. They still have to pay for the designs regardless if fans like them or not. The thing is, the fans are almost never happy, so I'm not sure how useful it would even be, I think if the Raptors organization had any idea the team would turn things around like they did, we wouldn't be getting a re-brand. As for the actual logo, I don't really mind it. It's not great, but it's not the disaster people are making it out to be. I also think Drake is getting a lot of unnecessary blame for it. His influence is probably not as great as we think it is.
  11. Speaking of, video of the 1985 Blue Jays winning the division: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2HwbEEAKA8
  12. And not all games were televised, right? That seems crazy to think of in this day and age. Also, I remember CTV (I think) only being able to broadcast games up until the playoffs, at which point you had to watch the American feeds. So imagine listening to Buck and Pat, then having them bow out come playoff time.
  13. Given the way he's been playing, should Lou Williams be starting?
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the NBA thread, not the Raptors thread.
  15. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OvmuvHN8HnM/S9D_sY9OzdI/AAAAAAAAB_c/oIaUDFaAU1E/s1600/Cito+Sucks.jpg Fans actually threw baseballs onto the field. At an all star game. Said Cito:
  16. Does that matter? It seem as if the Dome is going to be kept close while they try growing the grass. They plan on using lights, not sunshine.
  17. If they had to play in that stadium, albeit temporarily, could they do what the Rogers Centre is planning on doing by installing grass?
  18. I wish I could find the Toronto Sun cover after Cito Gaston accused Simmons of being racist. If I remember correctly, it featured a stock photo of a smiling Simmons, and a headline that read something along the lines of "It's a damn lie!".
  19. Is that even possible? How much of it comes down to the Argonauts playing?
  20. Post a photo where you're looking head on. It's hard to tell since I can't see the shape of your head. Also, what grade did you use? Personally, for white guys, I think keeping it short, but not completely smooth, is the way to go. Agasse and Ryan Goins both have dark complexion, and guys with darker skin tend to look better with shaved heads. Not saying you can't pull it off, just something to keep in mind.
  21. You could always go with a #3 or #4. If you don't have clippers already, buy one. You can get them pretty cheap at Winners. While I'm not losing hair on top of my head, I do have a receding hairline, and the hair I have isn't very thick. I cut my hair with a #2 every two weeks just to maintain it. #1 is a bit too severe, at least for me, since my scalp is so white. Apparently they make a #1.5, which would be ideal. Anyway, the clippers pay for themselves. I haven't paid for a haircut in about four or five years.
  22. Just buzz it short, maybe a #1 or #2. You don't need to go Michael Jordan immediately.
