Expect a significant decline from Gose offensively. BABIP over .400 and only 3 XBH in over 50 PA. The one positive anomaly is the number of walks, Gose has been patient; seeing a lot of pitches. I imagine none of this is sustainable as pitchers will start throwing him more strikes and his BABIP will fall, though it looks like a .330-.340 BABIP is sustainable with his speed and new found bunting ability. I expect his line to regress to something like .260 .300 .350.
Question is, should we be content with a .650 OPS from a guy with great defense, ability to swipe a bag (and more), and now what seems to be the ability to execute a good bunt? I think so.
