    They may be a bit unreliable lately but they are still 2nd in the majors in K's and 5th in WHIP this year... not exactly the Rays Achilles' Heel

    Yes there is... a healthy PED-free Melky probably gives you a slash-line in the neighborhood of .270 .320 .390 .710. That is extremely bad for a corner outfielder (or DH). He has no power, no speed, no defensive prowess. He's basically a singles hitter.
