  1. Okay so we've lost Stroman for the year. That sucks but we have to move forward.. But I wouldn't go trade any top prospects 1st because we do get Stroman back next year and can really see how our organisation unfolds (at 2nd, CF and even SP ie do we want Dickey back next year etc) 2nd because AA's prospect trades havent been the best when he feels pressured.
  2. Anyone else think he;s off on Hoffmans ETA to MLB Projected Path: 2015: Low-A, 2016: High-A/AA, 2017: AA/AAA/MLB, 2018: AAA/MLB I think he'll get here sooner than that.
  3. I agree with the 2nd guy for sure
  4. Once again the accountant admits he can't count.
  5. That is NOT true.....They were focused on second base when they initially contacted Billy Beane about Donaldson. AA has stated several times his line of thinking was to obtain Donaldson and move Lawrie over to second.
  6. Thanks for posting, He is the guy that is gonna put up some legit numbers this year.
  7. I hope you are right....That would be awesome if both had a great year....we also have some sleepers that might wake up as well.
  8. I see all except replace Osuna with Miguel Castro.....I just see him getting to the show first. He's doing everything right in AA's eyes.
  9. Maybe his defence would improve a little if he went back to the milk container
  10. np.... He has had a different path than some but that could be even more credit to him due to the fact he didn't just rely on his parents and education.
  11. Yeah here's an article on that very subject with Bautista http://www.si.com/mlb/2015/02/10/jose-bautista-toronto-blue-jays-bautista-family-education-fund
  12. Thats the beauty of minor league deals is we get to see if they are in fact bench worthy or not.....For Free
  13. LOL I'm not a huge fan but since we got him as insurance, didn't trade f*** all for him and he has MLB experience, I'll take him. AA says he was not brought in for OF more so for 1B/DH well I thought Gibby said EE was his 1B so that might be Gibby being overruled.
  14. I know Alford is a gifted athelete to play at such a high level in two sports, however he should not be mentioned in the same breath as Bo jackson. As a matter of fact, since we are talking about "Two sport stars" Alford has yet to prove he is even a one sport star. He was a bench player in college football and has yet to prove he's a star in baseball. I still have hope for baseball but he is lightyears away from what Bo Jackson accomplished.
  15. Oh Yeah!!! Thats exactly what I think, at LEAST one is gonna have a massive breakout season
  16. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/viciedo-signing-gives-blue-jays-plenty-options/
  17. If Viciedo fails to make the Blue Jays’ Opening Day roster and winds up at Triple-A Buffalo, he will receive $20K per month the Jays probably release him but if there is nothing else out there thats what he gets paid
  18. Right! Ask anyone, when you build a championship team, you build from the DH out
  19. I guess the RealAccountant needs to learn to add.
  20. RIP Minnie Minoso http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/12403240/minnie-minoso-first-black-mlb-player-chicago-dies
  21. No trade pal.....just a Milb deal.....sorry about the dinner
  22. Well at least we finally signed a Boras client
