    Pitcher A: Plays 9 innings each game with 1 ER against. Loses 1-0 each game, terrible W/L record Pitcher B: Plays 9 innings each game with 5 ER against. Wins 6-5 each game, amazing W/L record In vacuum of course, but Pitcher A is substantially better. What stats other than W/L do you think are vital for pitchers? Team they play for can play a major role in W/L. Beyond ERA of course as well

    I haven’t mentioned him once in the thread. Was your OP post about JPA secretly? If so, you should have included that in the original post and title as well. I was pointing out that everyone is laughing because you failed to support your claim.

    No, you are far too intelligent for us. I have never heard of Karate and certainly can never understand it. (Another logical fallacy for you fans keeping score at home) If you want to defend, start by actually supporting your claim in the OP next time. There isn't much to defend when you supported it with air. I have no problem with people having opinions that differ from the majority. You just need to actually provide substance to your claim. If I were to claim "getting on base is overrated" and support it with "I am sure you idiots will disagree", I would get laughed at as well.

To top this off he commits a logical fallacy by calling sabermetrics supporters idiots. He then cries as he is called an idiot. What the f*** are we suppose to do when you never supported your claim in your main post. You have a polarized opinion, at least back it up.
