    I think it kinda turns into a significant one when ownership constantly dicks you around and make's promises they don't keep and end up trading your star's constantly. For as bad as some people make it seem Rogers has been pretty damn good to us especially these past couple of years.

    Knew from the start there was a very slim chance he would be back, but I mean it being Boston just really sucks. Let's hope he doesnt hurt us during the season. Really wish we would sign someone also like a shark, really hate how we always seem to be so close with this team only for them to half-ass s*** at the end.

    Don't mind the deal really. What I hope this means is that they are looking to focus more on obtaining a solid front line guy for the rotation. Looks to me that their thought behind this could have been that it would be easier to fill Hendriks role either in house or with some cheaper 1 year options instead of trying to sign someone to be that 5th starter.

    Personally I think if they decide to have him start it has to be from the start of the season for a couple of reasons. First being if it doesn't work you can easily slide him back into the pen because I rather not lose him for a week or two during the season only to have it backfire and have to put him back into the pen anyways. Second thing is this gives him a spot for certain from the get go, anyone we sign will obviously not be removed from the rotation for Osuna. Which leaves you with Hutchison (if he is still with us). If during that time you decide to send Osuna to the minors to stretch him out and Hutchison and everyone else is killing it you really can't touch anyone at that time.

    Yes, great idea our offense/defense for once really doesn't have any holes so lets ruin that to somewhat fill up one hole and create others.
