So Stroman DID intend to hit him. *dun dun dunnnnn*
I am going to miss Buehrle. Sucks that TO doesn't allow pitbulls or the Jays might have had a shot to try and convince him to stay. Probably go back to the White Sox to finish his career.
I was over on sportsnet and read this:

I don't know why, but I got gitty. Will be fun times seeing those two mash hitters. Now if only Smoak could sneak himself between the two and listen in on the conversation.
Didn't even see him and forgot he went to the Marlins. I also hate playing the "should've, would've, could've" game, but realized this was the same draft that McGuire was picked over Sale.
Sanchez, Syndergaard, Wojciehowski, Nicolino, Nolin, Pompey and Bryant? Damn, good picks. Sucks that 3 of those guys were traded and Bryant didn't sign but that is a pretty solid draft overall.
I somewhat disagree as I am a little high on Travis but what do you see as assets the Jays can give up and what do you think are assets the other teams would want?
I am dreaming of a Rowdy + Smoak combo one day just for all the one liners: "Smoaks it" / "Where there is Smoak there is fire" / "Things are getting a little... Rowdy" <- really this can only be used if Rowdy gets plunked and charges the mound at the pitcher. Fun times. I imagine to be shortly banned by o2cui2i.
It started out well for Smoak as well being up 2-0 on the count. I think he does have a decent eye at the plate and can see why he has a career 10% BB but don't think he is confident with his swing. I know I've repeated it a few times. It may actually be best for him to be in the minors to start the season to work / change that swing.
Norris:
- bilster on thumb
- didn't feel sharp today // felt that he was inconsistent
- credited Martin on his ability and enjoyed pitching to him
- stated he isn't a prideful person and wanted to learn further on becoming a better pitcher working with Pete Walker to make changes
- wants to "attack" guys, throw strikes and why he wanted to work on a more repeatable delivery with the pitching staff
- was impressed that Dickey was impressed he could get his car in reverse
- states its fun to be part of the home grown talent that is coming up with the Jays
- looks to Clayton Kershaw // loves his stuff and ability
So there is blood on Norri's pants. Looks like he may have a blister. Also Norris has been pitching really well and the ump, being a blind bat, has called a lot pitches balls that should be strikes.
