    We can't trade Edwin, he can veto it. I guess the theory is, if you can't limit the opponents scoring runs on you, just outscore them.

    It seems like Tulo had in his contract a clause that says if he was traded, he gets a full no trade afterwards. So we can't trade him anyway now.

    The company i work for has indirect contract with MLB and the Blue Jays and the way that it works, everything goes from MLB down. They pretty much run everything for all the teams or at least dictate general things. It's not only MLB like that though, we also have similar dealings with NFL, CFL, NHL, WWE and possibly NBA soon, they are all like that.

    Pen arms are come and go kind of thing, Reyes is an every day player and they don't really have a shortstop. So it's kinda even.

    I don't think Gibby been the reason for our problems, i agree with most of his moves. It did strike me as odd yesterday that he played Goins cause he had good numbers against Walker only to ask him to bunt, if you wanted him to bunt just leave him on the bench and let Travis hit. Other than that i been mostly happy with him.

    I never understand that, how come when we inquire the price is something like our 3 top prospects but when other teams inquire it's level B/C prospects?

    If that's the case, then it's indeed a buyer market.

    We should make a poll about, "will we get a starter who is 90 FIP- or better?"

    Because he's on league minimum? Estrada's FIP- is 102, Fiers's FIP- is 101. They are essentially the same thing. Both are extreme fly ball pitchers and Estrada been a little bit luckier in that department so far this year.
