No it's not personal. He did no wrong. He did not hype himself up. He did not put himself even in a position to play in the MLB. It was desperate situation at 2b and he got most of his hits out of the way on his first 50 at bats. Hit really poorly down the stretch. He's just orginization filler and shouldn't even be worthy of a discussion of this magnitude. Maybe so but to say you want him to fail miserably and saying it's not personal doesn't go well together. Sounds like you want the team to fail so some heads in the FO will roll.

There is a report that Twins offered Santana a 3 years deal but he's not going to bite unless it's longer and closer to 50 mil.

It's really interesting. I think Sierra and Edwin work out together and they both still seem to be behind pitchers. Bautista and Melky also work together and they seem to be ahead of pitchers.

His ERA against the AL East is horrible, i honestly don't see why he narrowed his options down to 2 AL East clubs. Maybe he wants to show that if he can get good results in the AL East, he can do it everywhere.

I would also love to see Romero in the rotation. If he's in the rotation that means his demons are gone and he's back to himself. Obviously that won't happen until he shows he can dominate in AAA for some time.

The article is interesting. Reyes, Edwin and Bautista seems to be good friends with Santana and it also pictures Lind as a smart "big picture" guy.

There are a total of about 1450 innings in a year, out of those, you need about 1000 innings from your starters. Right now our starters are sure to give us about 400-500 innings. Are you really that certain that our "depth" can cover the remaining 500-600 innings? I'd feel much better if our depth only had to cover 300-400 innings.
