  1. Couldn't find the Reyes-Goins double play but i found the one with the flip against the Astros. http://m.mlb.com/video/v31480277
  2. I don't think it has much to do with the GM, all their GM did was match our offer. That plus their offense plus the fact they don't play in the AL East is a score for him.
  3. I don't think they could have done more and i don't think Santana was trying to be greedy or anything. He thought there is no market for him so he was about to accept our deal, then he saw O's are also putting in an offer so he decided to give it a few more days to see who else would go for him.
  4. It wasn't spending for the sake of spending it was spending for the sake of a proven guy eating 200 innings. 3/5th of our rotation is a huge question mark even before the opening day. Worst case scenario, you'd get a Buehrle like assurances that he will come to pitch day after day and will keep you in the game long enough.
  5. If he can't get on the Astros team, who else would take him? Bummer.
  6. Damn, can't believe he signed else where. I honestly don't see how AA isn't going to trade for a starter now.
  7. I 100% agree.
  8. I'm not ignoring it, i'm saying he wasn't so great before, can he get better now? And besides, he wasn't horrible in the minors, just not enough to justify a call up.
  9. Yea yea yea, chances are he's a bum, waste of space... We know all that, old news. People should focus on what's been going own SINCE Kevin Seitzer been working with him in the offseason, not what he did prior. The only question that you guys should ask and try to answer is, whether or not there is a positive change in his approach, and if so, what are the chances that this change in approach will stick?
  10. If i were him, i'd try to map out my chances of showcasing myself if it was a 1 year deal. Then i'd look at the other longer term deals and try to compare the risk/chance. For him, if he gets hurt on a 1 year deal, there is no way he's getting another long term deal, so all the risk is on himself. As soon as he saw there is more interest to his services, the more homework he has to do. Think about it this way, his agent was probably feeding him BS that he's going to get his 100 mil, so he agreed to wait months. Now he realize that he didn't get any offers because of his agent so he takes the matter to his own hands and all of a sudden there is a demand for his services. So he needs to test it like it was December and not March.
  11. It's his right to try and get the best deal, obviously his former agent screwed him so he's trying to make up for it now that he knows there is some market for him.
  12. 2? Most of his at bats so far has been a huge improvement. I'm just pointing to the fact his work is paying off and there are some results.
  13. It's hard to see over the radio, they obviously made some outs when he was on the field because they were able to finish the game...
  14. I'm making a point that he seems to be making improvements. I didn't say he was the next Trout but i think/hope he can improve enough to be worth while.
  15. They didn't have a radar gun in the stadium according to the radio folks.
  16. I'd throw it in your arse.
  17. Yup, against Canada, they brought him in probably around the 5th inning. I think there was Morrow, Santos, Delabar and then Sanchez.
  18. Goins had a walk against Verlander and a single against Joe Nathan. I'm crossing my fingers really hard.
  19. I could be wrong but she looks fake.
  20. What is the chance both games will be aired tomorrow? Any idea what the pitching lineup will be? I know Stroman goes against the Tigers and Morrow against the other team.
  21. It means he likes you.
  22. Next year QO is going to be 15-16 mil. He needs to be Verlander like for AA to give him one.
  23. If he sucks this year, he won't get a QO so he will be free anyway. If he's ok he may or may not get a QO so if he gets one he takes it and ok, if not then he's free anyway If he's really good he will get a QO but teams will still sign him because he's proven himself to be worth it. I honestly don't see any bad options for him to take a 1 year deal. The only risk is injury.
